  • Energy Management: Balancing aggressive offense with smart energy conservation - recharge by standing still without the ball
  • Strategic Upgrades: Investing cash rewards wisely in offense and defense upgrades to improve player performance

Match Play and Competition

Dunk Clash features 1v1 basketball matches where you compete against other players. Match results, including wins, losses, scores, and tournament progress, are processed through our hosting service (Azgames) but stored locally on your device. We do not maintain server-side match history, rankings, or player statistics. All match data remains on your device, and we have no access to your individual match records or opponent information.

Game Progress and Data Storage

Your Dunk Clash progress—including match win/loss records, tournament progress, coin balance, unlocked offensive and defensive upgrades, player statistics, and achievements—is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. This means:

  • Your progress is tied to the specific device and browser you use
  • Progress is not synchronized across devices
  • Clearing browser data will permanently delete your game progress
  • We have no access to or control over your locally stored game data
  • Match history and opponent data are not stored on our servers

Important: We are not responsible for loss of game progress due to browser clearing, device changes, technical issues, or any other reason. Since all progress is stored locally, backing up your browser data is your responsibility if you want to preserve your progress.
